TEMPORARY TRAFFIC DISRUPTION
ARIMA BLANCHISSEUSE ROAD AT 1.7km MARK

The Ministry of Works and Transport will be conducting road works on the Arima Blanchisseuse Road 1.7km mark commencing on Thursday 26th August to Friday 3rd September, 2021. As a result of this exercise, motorists are to expect traffic disruptions throughout the day with periods where the road will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic. Road users are therefore advised to use alternative routes where possible.

 
In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:

  • Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.

  • Comply with instructions from Traffic Wardens/Safety Personnel on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.

  • Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.

  • Be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
