The National Infrastructure Development Company Limited (NIDCO) in partnership with the Ministry of
Works and Transport (MOWT) wishes to advise the general public (motorists/residents/pedestrians) that
there will be temporary traffic disruption(s) along the westbound and eastbound lane(s) of the Churchill
Roosevelt Highway (CRH) between Morequito Avenue (in the vicinity of Valpark) to the Spring Village
Hindu School.
This is necessary to facilitate the completion of works associated with the construction of the Curepe
Interchange Project. Works will be executed from Saturday 22nd February, 2020 to Tuesday 31st March,
2020 as outlined below:
Eastbound Lanes - 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Westbound Lanes - 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
A minimum of two (2) lanes of traffic will remain open to motorists along the CRH at all times.
In light of the above motorists are also advised to comply with the following:
• Proceed with caution and drive at reduced speeds on approaching the construction zone
• Observe all directional signage and barriers provided on the approaches to the construction zone
• Comply with instructions issued by police officers/traffic wardens to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic
All precautions are being taken by the MOWT, NIDCO and its Contractor to guarantee proper Health,
Safety and Environmental Standards are maintained.
