The Maritime Services Division acts as the implementation, monitoring and compliance authority for the State's obligations regarding legally binding maritime guidelines to which Trinidad and Tobago has committed to honour. It also administers national shipping and boating laws.
Masters and or Owners of vessels are invited to report ship casualties to be investigated to the Maritime Services Division.
