TEMPORARY TRAFFIC DISRUPTION
URIAH BUTLER HIGHWAY
The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the public that there will be a
temporary disruption in traffic on the
Uriah Butler Highway (northbound), from the Caroni River to Grand Bazaar Overpass. This is to facilitate road rehabilitation works which are expected to commence at 10pm on Saturday 13th June, 2015 and end at 6pm on Sunday 14th June, 2015.
Please Note: Two of the northbound travel lanes will be unaffected to facilitate the flow of traffic on the UBH northbound.)
In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:-
- Please proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
- Please comply with instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate the safe flow of traffic in an orderly manner.
- Please be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
- Please drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces.
- Motorists are advised to drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
