TEMPORARY TRAFFIC DISRUPTION

-MILLING AND PAVING CARONI SOUTH BANK ROAD

 

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the public that from Thursday April 9th to Tuesday April 14th, 2015 there will be a temporary disruption in traffic along the Caroni South Bank Road (from La Solita Road to St. Helena Junction) from 9PM to 4AM. This has become necessary in order to facilitate milling and paving works within the area.

In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:-

Ø  Please proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers

Ø  Please comply with instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate the safe and orderly flow of traffic

Ø  Please be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site

Ø  Please drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces

Ø  Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
