Notifications regarding the use of the PBR

 

Members of the public are hereby advised of the following updates regarding the use of the Priority Bus Route (PBR) by private motorists:

1.      Extension of Use of the PBR

Use of the PBR by private motorists has now been extended to December 31st, 2015. Please note that under this particular scheme, ONLY vehicles with a minimum of three (3) persons are allowed to access the PBR from Monday to Friday between the hours 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and again from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

2.       Expiration of access to PBR (between Belle Smythe Street and Farm Road)

The provision which allowed for use of the PBR from 6:00am to 6:00pm (between Belle Smythe Street and Farm Road) to all motor vehicles is now expired (effective February 28, 2015).

 

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure also wishes to remind all PBR permit holders to adhere to and pay particular attention to the PBR conditions stipulated on the PBR Permits to avoid being fined.

 

The Ministry thanks the public for its usual cooperation.
