TEMPORARY TRAFFIC DISRUPTION

MILLING AND PAVING ALONG CARONI SOUTH BANK ROAD

(St. Helena Junction to El Carmen Trace #1.)


The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the general public that there will be a temporary disruption in traffic along the Caroni South Bank Road from St. Helena Junction to El Carmen Trace #1.

This is to facilitate milling and paving works which are expected to commence on Thursday 7th May, 2015 and end on Sunday 10th May, 2015. These works will take place between the hours of 9pm and 4am.

In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:-

Ø  Please proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
Ø  Please comply with instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate the safe flow of traffic in an orderly manner.
Ø  Please be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
Ø  Please drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces.
Ø  Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
