Opening of Lower Piparo Road and Hoseinee Trace, Williamsville

Lower Piparo Road and Hoseinee Trace in Williamsville, was opened to the public at a formal ceremony hosted by the MOWI on Wednesday November 21, 2012.

Lower Piparo Road was destroyed by an eruption of the nearby mud volcano in February 1997, while Hoseinee Trace was used as an alternative access route to the communities of Gasparillo, Williamsville and environs as Lower Piparo Road was impassable to vehicular traffic after the volcanic eruption.
