Community Engagment Session Manzanilla/Mayaro Road

Community Engagment Session Manzanilla/Mayaro Road Printable Version

10 Dec 2014

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the public that it will be hosting a Community Engagement Session on Thursday 11th December from 4pm at the Mayaro Civic Centre,  Plaisance Road, Mayaro.

Having met with the residents of Manzanilla last week, this event is being held for the residents of Mayaro to inform them of the proposed plans for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Manzanilla/Mayaro Road. The session is also an opportunity for residents to express their concerns as part of the objective of the Ministry is to listen to what local residents have to say, as they would have experienced incidents of similar nature before. This information may prove valuable to the technical persons engaged in the project.

This is all in keeping with the Ministry’s goal of reconnecting those communities in the shortest possible time and therefore restoring normalcy to the lives of citizens.
