REGULATIONS
Made by the Commissioner of Police with the consent of the Minister of Works and
Transport under section 67(1) of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act
THE TRAFFIC CONTROL (EXPERIMENTAL SCHEME) (FELICITY) REGULATIONS, 2011
Citation1. These Regulations may be cited as the Traffic Control (Experimental Scheme) (Felicity) Regulations, 2011.
Duration2. These Regulations shall commence on Monday 28th March, 2011 and expire on Sunday 26th June, 2011.
3. Motorists shall proceed in-
(a) a westerly direction on Gilbert Street, between Cacandee Road and Nolan Street, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays;
(b) a northerly direction on Nolan Street, between Gilbert Street and Maha Sabha Road, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays;
(c) an easterly direction on Maha Sabha Road, between Nolan Street and Cacandee Road, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays; and
(d) a southerly direction on Cacandee Road, between Maha Sabha Road and Gilbert Street, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays.
No entry4. Motorist shall not enter-
(a) Cacandee Road, after Gilbert Street heading north, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays;
(b) Gilbert Street, after Nolan Street heading east, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays;
(c) Nolan Street, after Maha Sabha Road heading south, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays; and
(d) Maha Sabha Road, from Cacandee Road, between the hours of 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday except on public and school holidays.
Offence and penalty5. Any person who contravenes these Regulations is liable on summary conviction for a first offence to a fine of seven hundred and fifty dollars and on any subsequent conviction to a fine of one thousand dollars.
