MADE BY THE MINISTER OF WORKS AND TRANSPORT UNDER SECTION 65
OF THE MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC ACT
THE TRAFFIC CONTROL (MAYARO/MAFEKING TAXI STAND) ORDER, 2021
This Order may be cited as the Traffic Control (Mayaro/Mafeking Taxi Stand) Order, 2021.
This Order comes into operation on Monday 1st November, 2021.
(1) The Mayaro/Mafeking Taxi Stand shall be located on the Southern side of the Naparima-Mayaro Road, from a point fifteen metres West of Guayaguayare-Mayaro Road intersection.
(2) The Mayaro/Mafeking Taxi Stand shall accommodate a maximum of six taxis, parked facing a westerly direction.
(3) Entry to and exit from the Mayaro/Mafeking Taxi Stand shall be in a westerly direction only.
A person who contravenes this Order commits a traffic violation and is liable to a fine of three thousand dollars.
