The Coastal Protection Unit (CPU) provides consultancy services on matters relating to Coastal Erosion and Coastal Flooding in vulnerable communities.
CPU's mission is to deliver short, medium and long term sustainable coastal management strategies in order to protect vulnerable communities and built natural environments along Trinidad and Tobago coastal areas due to increasing vulnerabilities of coastal erosion and coastal flooding.
