The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure’s Highways Division continues to actively carry out patch paving works along major roadways across Trinidad. These ongoing maintenance activities form part of the Ministry’s nationwide effort to improve road safety and enhance driving comfort through targeted, cost-effective repairs. By addressing damaged sections of roadway before they deteriorate further, the patching programme helps to create smoother surfaces, reduce vehicle wear and tear, and extend the overall lifespan of the road network.
Recently, the Ministry’s team was hard at work along the Western Main Road in Cocorite and the Audrey Jeffers Highway, where patch paving operations were completed. These projects are carried out in close collaboration with the Traffic Wardens Division of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles around active work sites. Now, the thousands of motorists and commuters who traverse these major roadways can look forward to smoother, safer commutes and improved access within their communities as the Ministry continues its mission to enhance road infrastructure nationwide.
Stay tuned for updates on upcoming patching works in your community as the Ministry continues to improve roadways across the country.
