The Traffic Management Branch is responsible for Upgrading Obsolete Traffic Signal Control Equipment at signalized intersections. Currently, the traffic signal equipment is in need of replacement. Some of the equipment is approximately 30 years old and as such, the Traffic Management Branch has developed a strategy to treat with the maintenance and upgrade of obsolete signal equipment.
