Requirements to be Approved as a Vehicle Testing Examiner

The Licensing Division of the Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise of the following requirements that took effect on from June 14^th, 2022: 

Persons interested in becoming an approved Vehicle Testing Examiner must provide the following:

• A Police Certificate of Character
• Academic Certificates as an Auto Mechanic
• Authorised Class 1,2,3 & 4 endorsements on the Driver's Permit
• Documented work experience as a motor vehicle mechanic from an authorized garage (not less than 2 years)
• Official correspondence (Letter) from a garage requesting permission to become a vehicle testing station examiner* 
• Completed application form (This will be provided by the Licensing Office once requirements 1-6 have been approved).
