THE MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, CHAP. 48:50 ORDER
MADE BY THE MINISTER OF WORKS AND TRANSPORT UNDER SECTION 65 OF THE MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC ACT
THE TRAFFIC CONTROL (CHAGUANAS TAXI STAND) ORDER, 2018
1. This Order may be cited as the Traffic Control (Chaguanas Citation
Taxi Stand) Order, 2018.
2. This Order shall come into operation on Monday lOth December, Commencement
2018.
3. Taxi-drivers that ply the Chaguanas to Charlieville route shall Taxi stand
park on the western side of St. Yves Street, facing northward with eight
taxis as marked.
4. Any person who contravenes this Order commits an offence and Offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of three thousand dollars or to penalty imprisonment for three months.
5. Without prejudice to any liability incurred by the commission of Removal and a summary offence, vehicles found parked in contravention of this r;: i:¥:sdingof Order, may be removed by the Police and impounded and dealt with in unlawfully accordance with section 108(1)(b) of the Motor Vehicles and Road parked Traffic Act.
