The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the general public that the Quinam Lifeguard Headquarters, Quinam Beach, and the Penal Quinam Road (350m from the Quinam Beach) will be closed during the period 19th November, 2017 to 26th May, 2018.
This closure is necessary to facilitate construct ion works toward the rehabilitation of the existing seawall and for general coastal protection in the area. The public is advised to refrain from using the Quinam Beach during the construct ion period. A person visiting or recreating at the beach during the construction period does so at his/her own risk.
Members of the commumity are invited to attend a community meeting at the Penal Quinam Government Primary School, Mendez Village on 17th Novemb er 2017 at 5:00pm.
