Coronavirus 2019


This notice is intended to bring attention to the requirements for ships (including yachts/pleasure crafts and fishing vessels) arriving from foreign ports in order to minimize the risk to seafarers, port workers, passengers and other persons in the general population from the Coronavirus.

With immediate effect all ships arriving in Trinidad and Tobago waters must submit the supporting documents requested under the Single Electronic Window e-Maritime Module as per Arrival/Departure Harbour Master requirements to the Maritime Services Division of the Ministry of Works and Transport. This submission is required 72 hours prior to the arrival of the ship.

  1. Supporting Documents:

 All vessels including pleasure craft and fishing vessels

  • Certificate of Registry (valid)

  • Vessel’s last 10 ports of call (stamped departure clearance and dates are required)

  • Crew/Passenger List (stamped by Customs & Excise)

  • Crew members/passengers who have signed on the vessel within the 21 days and their respective places of origin

  • Declaration of Health (signed by master and countersigned by the ship’s surgeon, where applicable)

Vessels over 500 gross tons

  • Ship Pre – Arrival information of last ports call (attach stamped departure clearance from the ports)

Ship owners, shipping agents, ship masters and port operators who refuse to answer or  furnish the information in the Declaration Form and who provide false declaration are advised that this shall result in the vessel remaining at anchorage until receipt of the required information and may be subject to quarantine procedures as established by the Ministry of Health.
