The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the Golconda Connector Road from Piedmont Boulevard towards the Vehicle Management Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (VMCOTT), in order to facilitate road rehabilitation works. These works are expected to commence on Saturday 26th November 2022.
The hours of work are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Alternative access is also available from Golconda Connector Road through Piedmont Boulevard. (See the attached map).
In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:-
- Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
- Comply with instructions from Police Officers or flag persons on-site, to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
- Be aware of equipment in the work zone and entering / exiting the site.
- Motorists should drive at a reduced speed and proceed with caution, on approaching the work zone.
