The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the commuting public to drive at a reduced speed and proceed with caution on the southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway in the vicinity of the Caroni Flyover which is experiencing a spill-over from the Caroni River.
This advisory is necessary at this time, as the acceleration ramp, the slow lane and the shoulder of the southbound lane are flooded but is still passable to vehicular traffic.
