The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the general public that the North Coast Road – La Filette is currently open to single-lane traffic due to landslips and fallen trees in the area.
Crews have been dispatched from the Mechanical Services Division to clear heavy debris, to restore full connectivity and vehicular access in the shortest possible timeframe.
Members of the general public should exercise extreme caution when traversing the area as there are significant rocks and debris along the roadway between the lookout and Maracas Bay.
The Ministry of Works and Transport apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its patience, and continued cooperation.
