The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that there will be a temporary closure of Bridge B 1/24 along the Eastern Main Road, in the vicinity of 3 A’s Tyre Services Co. Ltd. on Saturday 10th June, 2023 from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
This has become necessary to facilitate the installation of a pedestrian crossing at this location. As such, the Public is advised that there will no thoroughfare across this bridge during the abovementioned time and to note the following temporary traffic arrangements:
- Only local Vehicular Traffic will be allowed beyond the junction of Eastern Main Road and Mausica Road heading East.
- Only local Vehicular Traffic will be allowed beyond the junction of eastern Main Road and Boys Lane heading West.
- The Priority Bus Route will be opened to facilitate all other vehicular traffic between Mausica Road and Boys Lane ONLY, during the abovementioned time.
Members of the public are kindly asked to follow all instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
