Temporary Closure of B 1/3 New Colonial Road, Barrackpore Bailey Bridge
The Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) wishes to advise the general public that there will be a temporary closure of the Bailey bridge along New Colonial Road, Barrackpore on Friday 27th November 2020, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This has become necessary in order to facilitate maintenance works.
During this period, the roadway will be closed to all vehicular traffic and pedestrians.
Alternative Route
The public is advised to use the following alternative route:
- On New Colonial Road, proceed to G.P. Road, then onto Kanhai Road North, followed by Rochard Douglas Road back onto New Colonial Road / Rochard Road Junction and vice versa.
