The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that there will be a temporary closure of the roadway along the 10.80km Cipero Road, Borde Narve Village, Lengua in the vicinity of B 2/11 Cipero Road. This has become necessary to facilitate the erection of a Bailey bridge. This particular route will be closed to vehicular traffic on Tuesday, 5th July, 2022, between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Alternative Route
- The public is advised to seek alternative routes such as the Manahambre Road, Papourie Road and St. Croix Road, during the period of work.
- All local traffic can use the Cipero Road up to the work zone, which is in the vicinity of 10.80km Cipero Road, Borde Narve Village, Lengua.
In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:
- Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
- Comply with instructions from Traffic Wardens on site.
- Be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
- Drive at reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
