The Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) wishes to advise the general public that there will be a temporary
disruption of traffic along Mayaro Guayaguayare Road 0.086 km Mark (South of Rio Claro Taxi Stand, Mayaro
Junction and North of Peter Hill Extension). This disruption will take place from Wednesday 17th February, 2021
8:00 a.m. to Friday 19th February, 2021 4:00p.m. Traffic during this period would be limited to a single
(northbound) lane.
This disruption is necessary in order to facilitate urgent repair works to a damaged culvert on the southbound
lane.
Motorists are advised to:
- Proceed with extreme caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
- Be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
- Motorist should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
The Ministry of Works and Transport regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its cooperation.
