The Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) wishes to advise the general public that there will be a temporary closure of the double Bailey Bridge, located along the S.S. Erin Road, Siparia, 14.23km mark on Tuesday 30th, August 2022, between the hours of 9AM to 2PM. This has become necessary to facilitate maintenance works to the Bailey Bridges.
Please be advised that the following traffic restrictions will be in effect:
- B 1/15 S.S. Erin Road, Siparia (northbound) will be closed while maintenance works are being conducted. All vehicular traffic will be diverted onto the B 1/15 S.S. Erin Road, Siparia (southbound), and vice versa.
During this period, Traffic Wardens will be on site to control the movement of motorists during the period of works. The Ministry of Works and Transport apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its cooperation.
