PROCUREMENT TENDER NOTICE
THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF FOUR (4) VEHICLES FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLASS 3 DRIVING TESTS FOR THE LICENSING DIVISION, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND TRANSPORT
Proposals are invited for the Supply and Delivery of four (4) Vehicles for the purpose of Class 3 Driving Tests for the Licensing Division, Ministry of Works and Transport. Please note a pre-tender meeting will be held on Friday 7th July, 2023 at 10:00am via Microsoft Teams. You are kindly required to forward an email to tender@mowt.gov.tt requesting a link for the meeting.
Proposals must be accompanied by the following:
- Valid Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates issued by the Board of Inland Revenue and dated not more than six (6) months prior to the closing date of the Tender;
- A Valid Certificate of Compliance issued by the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago in accordance with the National Insurance Act, Chap. 32:01.
It is to be noted that Proposals will only be accepted from Suppliers registered on the Office of Procurement Regulation (OPR) Procurement Depository.
Sealed submissions comprising one (1) original and four (4) COPIES will be accepted no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday 31st July, 2023.
Envelopes must be addressed to the Procurement Manager/Named Procurement Officer, Ministry of Works and Transport, Head Office Building, 2-4 London Street, Port of Spain and clearly marked on the outside:

Submissions must be deposited in White Tender Box #16, located at the Ground Floor of the Ministry of Works and Transport, Head Office Building, 2-4 London Street, Port of Spain. Tenderers should note that the dimensions of the SLOT of the Tender Box is 40.0 cm x 6.5 cm and as such, tenders should be packaged accordingly.
Bids will be opened shortly thereafter. With regard to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the guidelines for social distancing, there will be no public opening of the submissions. Tenderers are advised that the opening of tenders will be conducted via MICROSOFT TEAMS. You can request a link from the Procurement Unit at procurement@mowt.gov.tt in order to connect and view the tender opening.
Late tenders will not be considered under any circumstances.
The Ministry of Works and Transport does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender and reserves the right to cancel this invitation in its entirety and re-invite tenders at any time.
Failure to comply with any of these instructions or failure to submit any mandatory document will result in Proposals not being considered.
