The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise drivers who have NOT PAID nor CONTESTED Fixed Penalty Notices (Traffic Tickets) issued during the periods November 1-30, 2021 and January 1 - December 31, 2022 that under the provisions of Section 88A of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) Act, 2017 (Act No. 9 of 2017), the Licensing Authority intends to impose administrative sanctions against the drivers of the motor vehicles used in the commission of the traffic violations.

Please disregard this Public Notice if you have already made payment or provided representations to the Traffic Enforcement Coordinator in respect of the Fixed Penalty Notice(s).
