Unpaid or Uncontested Fixed Penalty Notices

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise drivers who have NOT PAID nor CONTESTED Fixed Penalty Notices (Traffic Tickets) issued to them over the period May 27, 2020 to December 31, 2021, that under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act (MRVTA), Chap. 48:50, Section 88A, the Licensing Authority intends to impose administrative sanctions against them.

Reopening of Licensing Offices on a Phased Basis

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to inform the general public that all Licensing Offices will reopen for business effective Monday 12th July 2021 with limited appointments. In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Licensing Division will resume operations on a phased basis to ensure that adequate social distancing and crowd control measures are maintained.
