The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the general public that due to major voltage issues within the area, the Caroni Licensing Office will be closed from 9:30 a.m. today, Monday 24th July, 2023.
Normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday 25th July, 2023. Persons affected by this closure are NOT required to reschedule their appointment and will be accommodated during the period Tuesday 25th - Monday 31st July, 2023. To complete a transaction, an individual MUST provide proof of their previously scheduled appointment for the Caroni Licensing Office.
Additionally, persons are reminded that a proof of address (utility bill no older than three months) is required to complete a licensing transaction. The accepted forms of proof of address include a cable bill, home internet bill, electricity bill (T&TEC), OR water bill (WASA). If a customer does not have a utility bill in their name, he or she is required to produce a letter of authorization from the owner and a copy of their national identification.
