What We Do

The Traffic Enforcement Centre Unit (TECU) oversees the operations associated with:   

* The Red Light Camera Enforcement System
* Demerit Points System
* Reformed Fixed Penalty Ticketing System 
* Spot Speed Camera Enforcement System

The Centre serves as a hub for real time connectivity, and data sharing associated with the  processing of red light and speed citations notices, the allocation and overall management of the demerit points system, the administration of the new fixed penalty ticketing system and red light camera system in Trinidad and Tobago.

It is the gateway through which the Software Management System known as UTURN shares real time information among key state agencies including Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago and the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPOST).
