Temporary Road Closure - Morne Roche Quarry Road 4.00 - 4.50km mark Williamsville

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to advise the public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the Morne Roche Quarry Road 4.00 km – 4.50 km mark, Williamsville. This is necessary in order to facilitate Piling and Shoring Works to a section of the Roadway (See map below)
Works are expected to commence on:

Saturday 20^th November, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. until Monday 22^nd November, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
 
The following alternative routes are available via:

• Guaracara Tabaquite Road

• Morne Roche Road

In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:-

• Local traffic ONLY would be allowed to traverse up to the work zone and not beyond.

• Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.

• Comply with instructions from Police Officers or flag persons on-site, to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.

• Be aware of heavy equipment in the work zone and entering/exiting the site.

• Motorists should drive at a reduced speed and proceed with caution, on approaching the work zone.
