Reporting System for Fishing Vessels

In keeping with Trinidad and Tobago’s obligations Maritime Services Division (Harbour Master) wishes to advise the shipping community that with effect from 01 August 2017 agents acting on behalf of the ship owners/ masters are required to report details concerning authorization to fish and trans-ship fish and fish products as well as the distribution of fish catch or fish products to and from their vessels before arrival and departure from all Trinidad and Tobago Ports.

Best Airport in the Caribbean !

The Piarco International Airport (POS) has topped the region as the Best Airport in the Caribbean, as declared by the Skytrax World Airport Awards for 2020 to 2021. POS was named the Third Best Airport in the Central American and Caribbean region, edged out by Panama's Tocumen International Airport and Costa Rica's San Jose International Airport, respectively.

Phase 2 - Reopening of Licensing Offices

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to inform the general public that Phase Two Reopening of all Licensing Offices commenced on Friday 23rd July, 2021with a limited appointment system still in effect. This is necessary to ensure that all COVID-19 health protocols, inclusive of adequate social distancing and crowd control are maintained at all Licensing Office sites.

Reopening of Licensing Offices on a Phased Basis

The Ministry of Works and Transport wishes to inform the general public that all Licensing Offices will reopen for business effective Monday 12th July 2021 with limited appointments. In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Licensing Division will resume operations on a phased basis to ensure that adequate social distancing and crowd control measures are maintained.
